Well I guess I have some stuff I need to deal with that I figured you'd understand better given what we have in common.

[ Sure enough, Ren ends up in the waiting room right on time. Though he looks as meticulously put together as usual, he also looks incredibly worn out. It's been hard with the sudden loss of Pidge. ]

[Promptly at five, the door opened into Hannibal's office, and he stood. Perfectly composed and coiffed in his three piece suit. He smiled at Ren, then stepped back to let him into the office.

Once Ren was all the way in, Hannibal closed the door and let Ren choose where he wanted to sit.]

So, what seems to be troubling you?

I don't...really know where to start. [ He admits, fighting away all of his nervous energy to take his place in a cushy looking armchair.

Ren had thought about therapy before, but... There had been no way to actually get it without opening a huge can of worms legally. That he was still alive was the simplest of all the issues that would arise from it.

So he hadn't. ]

Pidge is gone. She has been for a while. I kind of...lost my mind for a little after.

[Hannibal folded himself into his own chair, long legs crossed and hands steepled in front of him. He nodded his head for a moment, before giving Ren a sympathetic look.]

I am sorry for your loss, Ren. I know how devoted you were with Pidge. I am sure that would cause some major emotional trauma for you. Why don't you tell me what happened?
